Lee Waller, A true Christian and a great friend

If you haven't heard already, one of my dear friends, Houston Lee Waller, was taken home in a car accident while traveling with the New Testament Church Pioneers out West. I don't even have words to express what I am feeling. Lee was in my dorm all this past year and such an encouragement to me. He had such a heart for the Lord, wanted to see souls saved, and revival brought to our country. One of my last and greatest memories of him, was in a dorm devo near the end of the semester. He and I got down on our knees and begged God to send revival, to stir our hearts for the things of the Lord. I will not deny it, i don't even come close to understanding the reason for this, but our God does and that brings great peace. I pray that in his death, many will come to new life in Jesus Christ. I offer my deepest sympathies to all the Waller family and those who knew and loved Lee. Lee, you will be missed, but may your testimony reach to the ends of the world.

Wii had lots of fun!

Well, i saw something last night that i never thought would ever happen. My family and I went to dinner at some friends house, and our friends happened to have the new Nintendo Wii game system. Of course you can imagine my sisters and i jumped right in and loved the system, but it was so fun, the adult, aka mom and dad wanted to try it out. So we sat by and watched i think for the first time mom and dad get into a video game. It was great, my mom loved the bowling, and dad and i played baseball and tennis, it was great. Here are just a couple pictures to prove what i have just said.

Home is Great!

Well i've been home for just about a week now, and its been quite nice. I actually think i may be catching up on my sleep. I go back to work Monday at the Oasis Golf Club, so my lounging around will soon come to an end. I haven't shot too many pictures lately, just cuz i've been lazy, but my mom babysits a bunch of kids so i shot a few pictures of them, I think they turned out pretty well. I also snapped a couple out in the yard, so ENJOY!

Long Time No Post

Well its been a while since i've posted, i'm still in the mode of processing all my pictures from my England trip. So i should have some great photos for all to see in the next few days. We are in the middle of Bible Conference, so it is extremely busy and hectic around here, but the Lord is really working and the messages have been great. The picture is of a little girl that rides one of our buses here. She was waiting for her parents to take an Easter picture, and i snapped it and it was really cute so i thought you would like to see it. :)

Back in bonny London town!

Well, we have toured Scotland and Northern Ireland and have now arrived back in London for the last two days of this amazing trip. The last few days were interesting to say the least. The beauty of Northern Ireland far exceeds words or pictures. The interesting part is that while there we stayed in a hostel called Paddy's Palace. For those of you who have stayed in one you know what i'm talking about. It is like a college dorm, but just a little less accomodating. :) But it was a great experience! I would gladly do it all again. Last night we were back a Dr. McRae's church and had just singing service, it think the choir sang songs for about two and a half hours, it was so fun. There was a old gentlemen, very sick and frail who told us after we got done, that if this was anything like it was going to be in heaven, he would like to go there right now. It was powerful. We have to give every bit of credit to the Lord for all this. All of our voices are shot, we are physically exhausted, but each time we sing the Lord has only given us more strength and better vocal quality, its been incredible. Well in case you are worried about all of us poor college students living on bread and water traveling all over Europe, coming home starving and sick, just take a look at the picture below and see the kind of food we have been served. If I stayed in this country much longer i would be so overweight i could never get back. Dr. McRae's church fed us a four course dinner last night that rivaled any restaurant i have ever been to. But i think this picture below shows the best plate of food eaten so far.

If you have any questions or comments please leave them on the blog, i would love to answer any questions and your comments keep me posting! :)
